Step 1 - Open the back cover of your JioFi device and reinsert active Jio SIM in the SIM slot
Step 2 - Ensure that the JioFi device is switched ON, Battery is sufficiently charged & WiFi on the connected device is ON
Step 3 - In case it is OFF, Open settings and turn ON the WiFi device
Step 4 - Check if the status of the JioFi device name SSID listed is connected
Step 5 - It it is not connected, select the JioFi SSID and enter the password to connect. The default password is printed at the back of the JioFi device beneath the battery and is case sensitive
Step 6 - Check your JioFi network indicator. Green mean Good Coverage Area, Blue or 2-3 network signal bars mean Medium Coverage Area, Red or zero network signal bars mean Low Coverage Area.
Tips for optimum performance of your JioFi
1) Keep JioFi device within 10m of your connected device
2) JioFi device should not be connected to more than 10 devices at a time
3) Avoid interference between JioFi & the connected device viz. wall, microwave, cordless and others
Once all the steps have been followed, you should not face any problems in connecting the device.
